Adventures After 60
Two of us, age 66 and 61, splitting our year between Osaka, Japan
and West Midlands, UK — sharing our travels, health tips, and financial wisdom.
About Us
We're a couple in our 60s — husband (66) and wife (61) — living half the year in Osaka, Japan and the other half in West Midlands, UK. Now that we've stepped back from our careers, we're finally free to explore the things we love.
On this site, we share our travel stories, our approach to health in our 60s, and the financial wisdom we've gathered along the way.

Exploring the Heart of Kansai
Based in Osaka, we travel throughout the Kansai region — Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama. We visit the historic ryokan and onsen we never had time for during our working years, and savour the regional cuisine of each place we visit.
Now that we have the time, we rediscover Japan slowly and deeply — its culture, its beauty, and its food.

Life in UK & Europe
During our summers in West Midlands, we take short holidays to nearby Europe — France, Spain, Mediterranean cruises. Living in the UK makes it wonderfully easy to hop across to the continent.
We also love tending our garden at home — roses, vegetables, and the quiet joy of watching things grow in the English seasons.

Our Journey Ahead
We'll keep travelling between Japan and the UK, sharing what we learn about travel, health, and money along the way.
In Japan, we plan to continue exploring the great inns of the Kinki region. In the UK, we're growing our garden and planning more European adventures — and we'll keep sharing it all here.
